But his fast life led to struggles with substance abuse. He recalls a time when drugs, especially cocaine, were everywhere in Hollywood. Facing a pivotal moment in his life, Lowe recognized the need for change, prompted by a personal crisis that would set him on a new course.

In the early ’90s, Lowe knew the severity of his situation. At 26, after a night out, he missed a critical voicemail from his mother. She was calling to tell him about his grandfather’s heart attack, but Lowe was too drunk to respond. This was a wake-up call for him.

Knowing he had to change, Lowe went to rehab. This began his path to not drinking. “I’ve never been happier, personally or professionally,” Lowe shares, thankful for his better life. Meeting Berkoff was key. She gave him the steadiness and insight he needed to get better.

With Berkoff’s support, Lowe confronted his addiction, resulting in his career’s resurgence. Lowe proved that personal transformation can pave the way for professional rejuvenation.
